Black iron pork chops

Did some black iron pork chops for kettlecookers Facebook challenge tonight.
Went with just a basic home style serving. Started with a chimney of kbb and starting sautéing some onions and mushrooms seasoned in Evoo, s&p. Moved than indirect once done and seared some porterhouse chops over direct for a few minutes, then place in pan and moved back over direct heat. Put a few cloves of crushed garlic under the chops with a few pads of butter. Tilted the skillet and basted the chops, helping to stay moist while cooking. Served over a bed of mashed potatoes.

Damn that looks good. Those are the best kind of chops, only ones I'll buy anymore. Some good comfort food there.
