So today my neighbor had a Q by the road and smiled when he saw me walk out the front door. He said he specifically grabbed it for me because he knows how much of a Weber nut I am (charcoal version). I gladly took the abused Q and set off to welcome it to the family. After all, sometimes you don't want to wait for charcoal right?!? Here's some before and during pics. It won't fire with the push button ignition and the burner doesn't fire all the way so I'll be off to the hardware store to pick up some parts

This is the best Q of them all (short of the new version with the built in thermometer) AND the grate is in good shape! Excellent score my friend.

Thanks everyone. I cooked some bacon and a grilled cheese today on it. Im really digging this little guy. Alot of cleaning went into it, but its growing on me. Im going to be using this grill more often. I admit I was against propane at first, but I have definitely changed my mind.

They really did a good job designing it. The Weber Q owners thread in this subforum has a lot of praise for it. Check it out if you haven't already: http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-gas-grills-electric-cookers/calling-all-weber-q-owners/

Solid bbq man. I cooked on one of these for years when I was in college. Great for camping/tailgating.

@captjoe06 if you see a Q220 for <$50, do yourself a favor and just pick it up. I'm sure that you would get use out of it on the land and sea.
