Chuck Roast Cook On The Cheap
« on: January 30, 2017, 05:02:21 PM »
Well did a Chuck Roast Stew.

Prepping the grill...

The Meat Prep...

The Sear...

Did this before the Veggies went in.

Now the veggies "Man I wish you all could smell this!"

Veggies Done! Meat Back ON! ;D

Adding flower and some homemade beef stock ;) I love this GRILL!

Covered and cooking!

Done ;D

God this smells good!

Well wife and son loved it. I was very happy and the cost? $6 Only had to pay for the meat my wife went to a party on Saturday and the people where going to toss out the left over carrots, celery, and onion and she said she would take them. She brought home the baby potatoes from a friends house who did not like them and the broth I already had. Some may say we are cheap, but my day use to say frugal so frugal it is. A really good deal and meal for $6 with left overs for the next night.

Damn I love grilling on the cheap. 8)
Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

I'm learning the on the cheap skill as we speak with the kiddos in the mix now. That is an awesome meal and I love seeing the dual OTP in action. I bet your neighbors were peeking out the window, smells good over there!
