Bacon-wrapped scallops and
« on: June 29, 2016, 06:15:44 PM »

Drove up to @chuck s ' place this past weekend for some R&R. Jet-skis and grilling'.

As ever, the flavors were off the charts here thanks to Mrs. chuck_s ' cooking wizardry.

Chuckie got him a new chimney, the Char-Broil

After being dipped in mystery goo, scallops were wrapped in bacon and skewered. I think the goo was red wine, olive oil, Seafood Magic (Chef Paul)

"Nan" showed up, too

If only I could remember what this was

string beans with tomatoes, cheese, garlic

Gave up on the skewers when they just spun

Sounds like a great time. I'd tear up that green bean casserole.

OH yeah!!!!  I do scallops quite a bit and always have multiple packs of bacon on hand but never seem to remember to combine the two.  The string bean looks awesome too.

If only I could remember what this was

This was the butter, garlic, and herbs for the sauce on the pasta......

Nice cook, love me some scallops! I double up skewers to stop the spin. That tomato and bean casserole is special!
