Turkey Legs and a Browny
« on: April 14, 2016, 04:10:05 PM »
Got a hankering for a turkey leg, no brine just some rubbin and straight on the grill for a 275-300 snake.

That one on the right wanted to fall

Snake is set with some apricot, started with 16 coals to get her hot quicker ;)

The legs are on

And the Browny. This grill is a work horse.

The payoff was great! Will brine next time for better moisture.

That one on the right? She didn't want to fall, she just wanted you to rub her a little more.

That looks like a great day. SD is probably my favorite place to visit, and I can't imagine a better time than babysitting that pretty brownie running a snake. Nice.

Did the legs end up needing a brine? They look good in the pics. It's usually breast that needs brining.

Thanks guys. Didn't need a brine I just usually do so and enjoy the added flavor.
