I have the best neighbors and I am glad I do as our homes are only 20' apart. My grilling this year has really taken off and I think it has made us all a bit closer due to all of my many cooks and conversations about them. Well last night was very special as one neighbor brought me a keg of Landshark beer.

And the other neighbor thought I might enjoy this!!

I do!
All of this was followed by a great pizza night.

I think I ended with 14 people hanging out, drinking beer and eating pizza all evening while reviewing the new yellow grill.
It was an amazing evening.

Wow, I wish I had neighbors like that! That yellow looks like it's been rode hard, but to me any yellow score would be considered weber find of the year. Clean it up, straighten that handle and post some pics!
Oh, the pizzas look great too!

What's going on next Friday?? I'll bring the beer. Looks like an "epic" evening...sorry, couldn't resist...   ::)   8)

It's not just a grill, it's a WEBER

Looks like a good time. What was the story with the yellow? Did your neighbor have it and figure go pass it along, or did he find it and grab it for you?

Either way, really cool!

Nate

Sounds like a great evening. And killer pie, btw!

I like your neighbors....wish I had me some like that.

@RumBar I'm thinking you must be a pretty damn good neighbor yourself. Good Karma comes to those looking to give, not just get. Kudos.

My neighbors purchased the grill new not long after they got married in the 70's. It was sent off to college with two of their sons and I think it was used for fires as much as grill yet it survived and returned back to their parents where it sat in the garage for many years before arriving at my house last night. It is very rough and I'll clean it up and cook on it like crazy. I've been looking for a yellow but didn't want to pay the high prices. I couldn't be happier with it.

Awesome neighbors! Congratulations on the yellow! I can't wait to see it in action! Your pizza oven, is that the one from Home Depot? If so, how do you like it? Sorry I don't mean to threadjack but I haven't seen that one in action yet. I've been pondering one of those.

What great neighbors congratulations on the yellow.

@Qreps , congrats on the yellow! Great neighbors, for sure!  I'm also wondering... how is that pizzaqueue working out for you?

See my comments on the Pizzaque here. In a nutshell I'm very happy with it.
