Found this on CL for $10 yesterday



I was so thrilled that I could find a partner to my Detroit Lions Master-Touch(of which Weber stated only 1 of 10 ever made)

Then the competition set in, as my buddy was going to pick it up, call back from seller stating that he had gotten many calls and ask how high I would be willing to go?  Found out one of those competitors was @mattlillis73

So, like the Detroit Lions I had to go long to get the talent in my pool.  Unlike the Lions and their pursuit of free agents this guy is not old and pass his prime. 

Here is my Master-Touch, only cooked on twice in 20 years.


This will be represented @ the Chicago meet-up to display rare and vintage kettles, no using it as a portapotty @zavod44

I need to make this a keeper,  my collection is getting larger.  I will be cooking on the MT @ the Meetup, I still have a difficult time using it as a normal cooker.

How many of those SJs did Weber produce?

The SJ's are not as rare as the Master-Touch.  The Master-touch's were made for and given away at a promotional BBQ competition promoted by Weber and the NFL in 1995.

The SJ's were sold as a result of the promotion.  I should reach out to Weber to find out how many they made of the SJ's per team.

That's just awesome to get both versions of your favorite team, I'd be beaming !
I'd be thrilled to just see a Picture of the Seahawks MT. I was lucky enough to get a Seahawks Joe, with the help of another member last year , going to break it in at the Seahawks - Raiders game this Sept with my son .

L.B. if I had been lucky enough to score the Lions SJ. I was going to flip or trade it. You were the first person I had in mind. The seller told me I was already third person in line. He ask how high I was willing to go. I told him $20. I had a strong feeling the guy stopping by at 530 was a WKC member. I was right.

I have the Bears, Steelers, and Rams SJs so far...
