The magazine cover is surely a Photoshop creation but the other image is odd. Not light enough to be the Gray we know; more like the Charcoal color of Euro models. But that image is a stop or two underexposed and contrasty, so who knows the real shade.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Yep I'm going with chocolate based on it being the only colour that's close  from that era of kettles
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

It's Sepia, you guys......& Martha's got THE only one.......
She's special.....longest hotdog, etc........

Look at the white on the wheel of the gasser....and the wood.....it's not so processed or "off" as to make a Brownie look like that......just an opinion, but I think it's special...... 8)

Grey or faded black??
Only one bowl handle....what era did they start making them like that?
It almost looks like red on the underside of the metal part of the lid handle.

Yes. Everything looks right but for the colour of that Kettle. Damn thing looks olive green to me. Probably sitting unused on one of Martha's properties beside a bunch of other stuff she got comp'd.

That looks like a "lighting job" or color edit effect of a 90s BAR B KETTLE. Looks cool..
