Prime Ribeye Cheesesteak (Redemption) - PIC HEAVY
« on: May 08, 2015, 02:35:06 PM »
So after my fail last night to show the inside of a good steak (http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/bbq-food-pics/prime-ribeyes-with-blue-balls-(no-money-shot)/), here's part 2 with a leftover ribeye from last night.

The players - red and green jalepeņos, mini sweet peppers, sourdough roll, portobello cap, white onion, cheddar cheese, and prime ribeye

Quick pickle of the sliced hot peppers - boil 1 cup water with 1 cup white vinegar, pour over sliced peppers with a couple teaspoons each of salt and sugar

Sliced onion, sweet pepper, and portobello

Sliced and trimmed ribeye

Buttered, toasted roll

Veggies in the skillet first

Then ribeye

Built up with leftover sour cream and horseradish mix

Cheesed and toasting

The money shot

This was a damn fine sandwich fellas.

Hey don't anyone bother me just now, I'm checking flights to California.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
