Silicon bands for trussing

I have tried a couple of times to truss a chicken for the rotisserie, but make a mess of it and just do a regular smoke at grill level. So I just ordered some of these silicon bands for next time. Anyone ever use these things?

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Yeah I have the ones listed above, they work really well.

I've only done them indirect but I think they would be ok with direct heat if it wasn't too hot.

Most of my grilling is indirect so this should work well.
