I decided to cook up some wings tonight and sample some of the amazing rubs received in the latest spice trade. Also for good measure there are a couple of Chorizo and Chicken Apple sausages gracing the grill...

Tonight's blends came from @Johnpv @jamesnomore @indy82z and @MrHoss

Just me and the boys tonight and they are a bit young to appreciate wings... Sausage is a different story! ;)

Caught a tiny window in the rain just long enough to get the chimney going...

Thaaaat's better....

And here's the finished product!

Big thanks to again to the gentlemen above!

The wings all had excellent flavour and each spice blend was completely unique. Real good stuff you guys!

Looks amazing!!
You made the perfect food to go with some beer :)

Some nice looking chicken there.  If we ever have a huge like from all over converging in one place Weber Kettle club meet up, that's what we should do.  Have just a giant line of everyone's rub on chicken wings.

Those wings look so good. Perfectly cooked. I could go for some right now with my eggs :). I did a similar cook with the rubs I received a while back and really enjoyed the variety.

What'd you think of the Indian rub?

those look great, I bet it was fun keeping the different rubs seperated
If we were meant to grill with gas then the garden of Eden would have had a pipeline

Thanks guys - the wings all tasted great and I'm not just saying that to be polite - they were all really good! And yes Mr Z, they were indeed accompanied by an ice cold brew :)

@jamesnomore , it was excellent! I'm already conserving the bit I have left for a special occasion 8) Along side the white chili and turmeric do I detect a hint of celery salt in there as well? It has the most amazing smell even through the bag... Thank you!

Celery goes great with wings! Especially if you are trying a few different flavours like in this case. It helps to cleanse your pallet a bit before moving onto the next flavour. Give it shot! Real nice if you like hot wings too...
