Very nice!

Are you cooking this on a kettle?  Whichever it is, enjoy!   :) :)
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

I'm not sure I'll do another one because I don't think I'll ever top or even duplicate  what I did yesterday.  Beginners Luck maybe.

Honestly, that happened to me. My first time, it was so awesome. Every other has been pretty good, but I was PROUD of the first one.

Looks like it barked up real nice......did you angle it lie that to get the point closer to the heat?

Yes Sir,  didn't want to over cook the flat.  I had lots of room in the Ranch.

No, I didn't wrap at all untill it was done.  But I did watch his videos on YouTube and all three were very good.  The one that helped the most was the Prep Vid.  After it finished I let it sit uncovered until the temp came down to 150.  Then I foiled and put it in an ice chest for 2 hours.  That was my first smoke on the Ranch and I agree it was perfect for that big old piece of meat.  It would have easily fit 2 more in there.
