This method and setup is a Go To for me... I've done this method twice now to great success.

Looks great.  I have done two turkeys on the kettle so far and plan to do the Thanksgiving one again this year.  They really do taste great on the grill.
Platinum Performer Kettle (In Blue), OTG (In Blue)
Genesis Gasser (In Blue), Smokey Joe (Uline Lime)
Looking to buy (18.5 blue or brownie and blue lantern)

Stuffing is evil

Evil in a good way. Im a Stove Topaholic...

oh dude, me too. I eat that stuff year round.
but I NEVVVVVVVVVERRRRRRRRRRRRR put it (or any other stuffing) in the cavity of a turkey when it cooks.

Good to know about no stuffing

I was following a online recipe that may have been linked from this site

We will try again with no stuffing

i like to put onions, carrots, celery, and garlic (or even apple) in the cavity.
They add some nice aromatics.
However, we don't eat them when the bird is done :)

Craig

I only did stuffing once in my first bird. Otherwise, I have done apples, onlions etc..
