Copper Mist (Warrior) MBH Clean Up
« on: April 06, 2014, 10:45:41 AM »
Spring has finally sprung here in the Chicagoland area (sort of?) so I finally got around to cleaning up the old Copper Mist Warrior.

The bowl was real scuzzy

The lid wasn't too bad

Hacked off the old handle

I purchased a nice new purdy handle from Brian (thanks again Brian!)

After mucho scrubbing she is ready to go!

All in all it was a fun clean up and she shined up real nice...Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

Beautiful!
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

As some may know, I have a thing for the Brownies (Chocolate, Copper Mist) as much as I do the Redheads, this one of yours looks to be in GREAT SHAPE!!! Nice work, Gunner!! Looks brand new!

I forgot to ask, what did you use on the top vent? It doesn't look scratched like steel wool does.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!...Duke, I did use steel wool on the top vent. I will have to look, but I think it was 000 grade? I have never noticed any scratching on the vents on any of my cleanups using it..
