At first I thought you found this from google or something.

The pizza kettle's mine.  The pizza's good, I can cook using wood and often get up to 750-900F.  I love it.  Sorry y'all find it so offensive.

Thanks for stepping up!
We'd love to know more about it and even have a tutorial on how to make one (using an old black kettle).
We're not offended - we're saddened.

Troy, the Tucson/Raichlen 26" seems to have an extra lid...

A 26" would be a sweet mod, little extra room.

Incidentally, my love and admiration of this famous kettle rivals any of you.  Knocking a door into the top of just any grill wouldn't work.  When this thing is fired up the swirling flames and dynamics in there are pretty incredible.  I think it's because of the symmetry,  it's a blast furnace.  I've been making this thing for years, I'm on my 4th version, each with slightly different shapes (shape of the opening) and variants (door closed/open,  type of fuel, placement of stone/fuel, etc.).  Friends donate them when they find one in the trash.

Here's a flatbread I made the other night, http://instagram.com/p/kfnTJMsArZ/

What do you mean by 'just any grill'?
Have you cut into other colored grills?

I think what Mr. Dog is trying to say is that a pizza burner would not work as well with a POS CharBroil, or Kmart knockoff Kettle.

Welcome, SeligmansDog! Have you been lurking like I guessed? Where are you located? Make sure to check in at the "introduce yourself" section. Cheers!

Troy, I have an extra 26 lid, just sayin...
Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.
