Red MH 18 - pat pending

I had posted on getting this a couple of months ago. The cleaning took a little time as there was a thick layer of baked on grease on the lid. Took a few iterations of oven cleaner to take care of it - there are still some small remnants, but I got it to my liking. Good scrubbing with 0000 wool and dawn did the rest. All of the vents work nice now (2 of the bottom vents were stuck).

Good eye - I realized after I took a pic that I didn't have it centered properly. It does sit flush with the brackets.

Plan on using it sometime this week. The cooking grate was a $5 pickup from Target clearance a couple of weeks ago.

I forgot to mention that I paid $15 for this little guy. Not mint, but I think a decent deal. I wanted to get a 18 kettle and was on the lookout for a red one. Was able to kill two birds with one stone. This one is definitely a cooker .
