Agreed. The new ones are a PITA to get in and out of the front leg. Why Weber reengineered the front hook is beyond me.  :-\

I actually prefer the new style vs the old hook. It hides it better
and locks the leg in good.

That's what's behind the rocket science.....guarantee they've had a few gripes about them coming loose / falling out over the years......one of the few Achilles Heel's

Contacted Weber and they are sending me a triangle out. Will update when I receive it. I now have a replacement triangle for my 18.5.  ;D

Replacement Triangle arrived and fits perfect . The 22.5 kit had a 18.5 triangle in it.
