My OMG Craigslist Performer

I pick up this 2010 Performer for the OMG price of $20. It is filthy, the grills are so dirty that there stuff growing on them. The only real problems are a little surface rust on the bottom rack and the igniter didn't work. Already fixed the igniter, just had the clean out the spider webs in the flame tube.

Nice score. Pick up one of the sale cooking grates from target during their fall clearance. I got one with the folding ends for $5.00 last year.   My performers are my go to grills. I have been known to start a chimney of charcoal over the burner and dump in one of the other kettles on many occasions.

I throw the grill in the gasser for 2 hours at 600 degrees and burned all the crap off. A little more work with a SOS pad and they will be ready to go.

The burner burns clean.
