Golly and I have been discussing a few mod ideas to build for the ranch
We want to make up a side table and roti ring
I've been searching the net for ideas but haven't found a lot
Anyone got any ideas or pics of mods they've done or seen?
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Damn you beat me to it Ken. I read this post in a meeting, then looked back and you had responded.

See if you can score a cast iron something or other for it!!

All terrain tires.

Put it on a trailer, with a side burner stove, a beer tap, and a whiskey barrel

The collar is a good idea. The four leg base with these would make a nice stable roti for a whole pig - that is my dream.  I have been contemplating contacting some metal fabricators in my area about making one. I have the CB ring and my heavy duty roti motor for designing it. I know it wouldn't be cheap, but it would open up possibilities for the RK.

I haven't had much of a desire for a Ranch (never say never to a Weber), but lately, I'm thinking the cooking real-estate alone would be worth having one but I'll wait and do a 26 first.  ;)
