I'm seeing a fair few requests lately with people asking for some advice and assistance on a date for their vintage Weber grill. I've quickly updated the vent image I see posted regularly as it had some outdated incorrect information. I've also added some information about wheel styles, legs, bowl vents etc that also help to date grills in combination with lid vents.

Hope it is useful to collectors and feel free to use it where needed. Happy to take board any comments so that I can make amendments where required.

Special thanks to the WKC who provided resources and the images for me to be able to put this guide together. Of course there will be exceptions to the information provided in this image and it should be used as a guide only. Grills where leftover parts have been used from previous years or one off grills may not fall into a specific category for year to date and there will always be the exception of overlapping years in production. I'm hoping this guide applies to the majority

Very informative and resourceful info for references.  Thanks for providing the visual chart and for all the time and work put into revising it.
