Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Make the Aristocrat Great Again!

So, it includes the GBS stainless grate, the warming rack, but old fashioned charcoal rails.    The charcoal rails seem like a cost cutting measure and when used as designed, will only lead to enamel failures and crazing.

Fully agree with you on the charcoal rails. They don't make much sense today.  I'd guess the porcelain is not nearly as resistant (likely as thin as can be) as the coating was decades ago.  In addition to being cheaper, the only other thing I can think of is they may allow the user to load a lot more coals than the current baskets do.

Yes to the Aristocrat being reintroduced!  I'd also love to see color options for the summit kamados.

The Big 26.75" Crafted/GBS grate looks excellent if you already have GBS accessories or can afford the new Crafted pieces $$$.

... but those charcoal rails instead of baskets is insanity. Why go to the effort to revamp and introduce a new premium 26.75" MT model, only to cheap out and include a 30 year old charcoal rail design that cant be adjusted or moved around midcook? Bit of a head scratcher that one.

Happy with my Glen Blue and Aristocrat.... And no way I'd use those rails and bank coals in them.

The charcoal rails kills me... BUT the stainless steel GBS grate is pretty sweet.

I so agree.   I bank coals with my Ranch because there's really no alternative. Admittedly, it gets used 15-20 times a year but I already have crazing after 4 years with mostly low and slow work.  It's not bad but....

Only grill I regularly abuse is my red LE.... It's my pizza machine, vortex wing kettle and has been to the salty shores of Florida.  Even though it has pops and imperfections, I treasure it so much over most in my collection.

The 26" is due for release in the UK during February so presumably the rest of Europe also
but I learn, only in black!

I pulled the trigger on one of these.
This is the only picture that I have of itsitting out in the freezing rain with the Summit.... uncovered.

Well I ordered one today
Saw that color and just loved it, plus I always wanted a 26 incher
Guess this weekend I have to break her in
If we were meant to grill with gas then the garden of Eden would have had a pipeline
