Venom Alerts

Does anyone know how to get the Venom Alert to use "sound" to alert ?

I haven’t used mine since early spring. I know it wasn’t possible on the controller then but will break it out and look for any updates and see if I can give an update.

Got some input that Venom app was updated just a couple of days ago. So, I updated tonight to v1.9.8 (Apple OS). Then connected phone to controller and controller immediately found the app and prompted for firmware update which took the controller to 1.1.23.

After that, was able to set alarms for the ambient or meat probes (1-2). When the alert threshold was surpassed the controller began audible beep until I acknowledged the alert. Also, visual prompt of RED font on controller flashing.

Again, the sound comes from controller not the phone but no sound at all prior to app or firmware update.
