Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

What was the price per bag? Ace Hardware in Elk Grove seems to have the same price all year. Around $20 per bag.

I guess I should pay more attention to the sales ads.

I've been getting mine at Academy Sports and Outdoors for the past couple years.  Great prices there.  They've got rubs and sauces as well.

My Ace rarely has any charcoal on sale.  Same B&B is $18/17.6 lb. bag. I get $5 of coupons all the time, but no "fuel" is allowed, including charcoal.  Plus their Weber stuff is about +$5 more than list price across the board (also not coupon eligible).  Wish I had better pricing like some of you do.

Not really a deal IMO, Academy sports everyday price is $9.99, if they are available where you live. Also, the twin pack (2 x 20lb,) Cowboy charcoal at Walmart for $17.92 is a great everyday deal!

Looks like there's an Academy in Dunwoody just north of 285.  Might be worth the drive.  I also get smoking wood chunks there for pretty cheap.

Very commendable!  Enjoy using the B&B - good stuff.

If it makes you happy, go for it. I've yet to really find my favorite charcoal, although B&B and Cowboy are up there, and sometimes regular old Kingsford is enjoyable to use as well. I'm coming around to the idea that the question should not be 'What is the best charcoal" but rather what is the worst. There are some pretty bad ones.
Happiness is found under the lid of a charcoal grill.
