Interesting - appears to be a combination vortex and snake assist with deflector.  Pricey IMO.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I like it.   Looks a little overpriced but it is thankfully stainless.  Not a one trick pony either which adds value.

Weber Vortex?  I guess if the accessory market is where it's at, then you "borrow" from one of the best.

Can't we achieve pretty much the same effect with the baskets?
fill them & center them, or leave them empy, but centered & do a ring round the outside?

Nice to see them paying attention to those of us who stay with the traditional Weber Kettle.  But I've already got a Vortex and, for indirect, I'll stick with the Slow n Sear.  But for those new to the game, I'd say it's nice to have another option.

I haven't been paying attention the last couple of years but I was just on Weber's website and really like the charcoal grill selection they currently have. Also the first time I have seen this accessory. Looks like it would work well. Has anyone used this yet?

We have them on display and the quality is decent, but I really wish Weber didn't post images that make the top deflector look like a one piece unit. In fact it's 4 individual pieces that snap together to form the top ring. Not a big deal but why not show it exactly as it is?? The Weber site now shows the correct image but for weeks all the stock photos were incorrect.

Sorta want one but they are $150 up our side of the border and it's tough to justify that in my opinion :/

I don't have a Vortex or a SnS

I do have a Weber gift certificate burning a hole in my email, and since the new griddle won't fit my genesis, I was looking at this
Dude, relax your chicken.

If you don't have a vortex or sns this would likely be a good fit - esp with the GC!
