Always wanted a Smokey Joe... Found this the other day and picked up for $20. Stamped 'K' which means 1988. It also has the daisy wheels.

Was there a charcoal grate for these older models? if so it is missing.

Congratulations! Good find. Yes there should be a charcoal grate...same size that is in newer ones. Should be able to buy a replacement or get from a parts grill.

Great thanks!

I found one a few weeks ago as well. It has really fine white speckles but in pretty good condition. B code so 1980? It cleaned up nicely.

Oh wow very nice find! I like the white speckle and looks to be in great shape.

Congrats!  I picked up a similar C code from a WKC member earlier this year.  I like the looks of these and the legs are very unique.

Not sure off hand. I want to clean it up and get rust off it. The daisy wheels are rusted tight as well. When its time though probably some brats or burgers!

Sounds great, will be a lot of fun I'm sure!

Nice grab! I think mine is about the same age. I haven't been able to convince myself to open the box!
