Hello!  I lived in the immediate area where Weber was started. They would hold a yearly  CHIPS,DENTS SECONDS & DISCONNECTED ITEMS  sale usually late in June, on one occasion I purchased what they billed as  THE TOKYO GRILL. If anyone is curious or has additional backstory feel free to respond.
I only have 2 pages of instructions on cooking with it.

This would be very interesting to see. Several historians here that will likely be able to fill in the blanks for you.

I wonder if this is the same grill as the "Far-Easterner" I once heard about?

The way current events are going, y'know with all the fake news, it could just be a hibachi type grill made in Tokyo, Japan, where someone put a Weber badge on it, and is trying to sell it off as a legit Weber. It happens all the

time. The Asian region of the world are masters of counterfeits.  ...Although, I could be wrong. A picture paints a thousand words.
