GGA Age?
« on: June 11, 2021, 12:48:28 PM »
Just picked up a new never used but covered in cobwebs and dust GGA locally for cheap.  It has wood handles and the flavorizer deflector so I know it's pre 2000.  Not having any vents with codes on it, is there a way to tell the age of these?  I looked on the main page and didn't see any info other than pre and post 2000 for GGAs.

It is difficult to say.  My GGA was NOS.  It had wood handles, but a code on the box that postdated the wood handles, and the literature in the box had two different dates respectively on them.  I think you can find a serial number on the burner tube, which may give you your best guess
