Yesterday I took the plunge and purchased a Battery Operated Cajun Bandit Rotisserie with a AC Adapter for my 22" Weber Performer Deluxe at the 10% discounted price through July 31st. Look forward to hearing from those WKC Member's experiences in using one, i.e., types of meat on the "Spin", etc.

Have the same setup. The battery operated unit is great. Have done chicken, turkey, picanha and pineapple. Also have turned the cylinder upside down on the 22” WSM and have hung ribs directly over the fire. Enjoy.

I have the a/c unit.
Its pleasantly slow in rotation, but I have no experience with the battery unit.
Its a great idea though.
Everything else in the kit is the same & I have zero problems with mine & I love it.
