Last week stumbled across a FB marketplace for a FREEEEE key lime 18". The Fairway. It was about 15 minutes away from me...so I got the address from the gentleman and was there in 14 minutes. He said it was at the end of the driveway. Fantastic condition, two small chips on the rim of the lid, one tiny pop on bowl. That's about it folks! Small bowl tabs on this guy I believe make it a '74-'75? Sanded down the handle today and oiled it up, and freed up the daisy wheels with PB blaster. Cooked up some NY strip steaks, baby broccoli, and mushroom risotto for tonight's dinner, and also did some teriyaki bbq chicken breast for work week lunches. Food turned out great, and cooking on an old 18" like this in such pristine condition was a lot of fun. Highlight of the week, no doubt.

Oh, and sweetening this deal just for funsies, the fairway came with an 18" Happy cooker w/internal ash pan. A bit roached, but pan seems to be in good condition.

Wow! What a score!!!!  That thing cleaned up well... probably not too hard when it's in that kind of shape. I still need one of those... Congrats!!
