You're the walking encyclopedia, Craig.....
If anbody's going to hit on what it is, it'll be you.....

Remember also.....there's TWO items that are"in the dark" so to speak.....we've just been guessing on the West coast one.....
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"

Craig

One more guess (for now) ............A Westerner!?

Duke

Neither Craig or anybody else is going to guess what it is, ever! Here's a clue to keep you on edge, well except Buckie. I'm a little concerned about him. :-\

I think out of the three Grillfellas ,Brian is going to appreciate it the most. I'm glad, he's been a trooper making all these difficult special handle orders.  :)

Can't help you solve the big mystery, but I will say I needed a little bigger vehicle to haul my stuff to Jeff's:

Want to borrow my truck?

A 1966 Wishing Well. Or...........A Penthouse?  :D

The wishing well wouldn't fit in my check in bag unfortunately.

Actually considering how rare this thing is I am surprised it didn't come from Weberland ie. Chicago area

I'll give you guys a hint. Weber has a lot of bbq innovations in the past few decades. We take a lot of them for granted now. But Brian, as a person who likes innovation and prototyping himself, can immediately relate to. And the wkc founders go way back so this kettle is like a culmination of all thier efforts and this site being founded. Obvious this kettle is at least a few decades old at least. A non weber production model or color ( ;)) is not outside of the realm of possibility. We've seen it with the sevilles and maybe another model? I have about 7 drinks in me right now so this is the only reason I'm giving the hint at 2am while still out drinking in chitown. Thank god this phone has autocorrect otherwise this will be incomprehensible. Anyways, I hope I can wake up in time to make it to Jeff's. so good night.

But to turn the gears a bit, Harvest orange anyone? Weber penthouse? Original kettle? Flamethrower? Custom marbled kettle? 18" galley que? Weber flat top? Original kettle? Flamenco? Burnt orange smokey joe with locking lid bale? Chariot Seville frame? Patent pending WSM prototype? Have I mentioned special color yet?  ;D

It must be something freakin special to go cross country and not be posted in trading post or a in the back of the truck pics by duke. I heard Jeff paid Harris level money for this one lolz. Good night.

So many inside jokes. I hope someone here gets it. Only 10 hours to go till WKC annual meet number 1. I'm packing my cameras for sure. But that's another expensive and less tasty hobby for another forum. Good night.
