A few months ago, I was interviewed by a reporter for our local town newspaper.  It's more of a pamphlet than a newspaper that is published quarterly.   He had heard about my Weber collection and himself being a picker, was quite interested.  The article was recently published.

That is the background story. Here's the main reason for this post.  This week, I received a letter from the same reporter containing this Weber sales brochure.  He doesn't know where he got it but has had this old Weber brochure for many, many years.  He said I would probably get much more enjoyment out of it than him holding on to it.  The back is printed Wood Dale Ill.  Not as old as the Weber Brothers Metal Works brochure I've seen posted here on the Forum so it must be a second printing after Weber moved from Chicago to Wood Dale.

Guess this was before the threat of Carbon Monoxide asphyxiation was understood and civil litigation attorneys weren't prevalent.  Quote from the page below -  "Treat yourself to the advantages of charcoal cooking year round. Cook indoors during bad weather, too, by following these simple directions for smokeless cooking".

Cool piece of Weber history. It will be partnered and displayed with my Weber Custom.  Don't think I'll be trying that cooking indoors part though...............

Very cool.  Thanks for sharing.  I wonder how many used their grills indoors.
