I had some steak sandwiches planned last night so I decided to have a little "Sear Off" between these two grates.

These are both my favorite grates for getting amazing grill marks.
I didn't set up the test to compare everything or to be 100% thorough - it just kind of came together on the fly because I wanted to make a video.

If you guys want to go hard core (if they really need some TLC), rig up an electrolysis system. You'd be amazed at the wonders it can work on rusty old cast. Someone on the site was doing a bunch awhile back with pics etc but ill have to search around for the thread.
