I was out cooking some burgers on the performer, and snapped this pic. Thought some would like to see the comparison.

I just feel lucky to have paid about the same for both. I smoked some ribs last weekend with the RK, and I can already see that the RK is really a versatile grill. Lots of room for indirect, and temp control is amazing. I think the fuel usage won't be much different than the 26. I always observed temp control on the 26 was a little easier than the 22. I think the same now with the RK. One does have to be careful, as the RK can get roaring pretty good if you aren't careful. I am still refining my temp control on the RK, but I really like this grill.

Can you tell me the excuse for the plastic handles on the 26........
