New to the kettle club
« on: August 07, 2018, 05:32:34 PM »
Saw this app right after I purchased my first WSM 18.5". I have purchased mods for it and been reading up on it nonstop the last month. Any tips or tricks using it is much appreciated. I am from Fredericksburg, VA.

Welcome to the Wkc.
I love using Stubb's or Weber coals in mine. I've never used water in the bowl. Only tin foil balls or pumice stones wrapped up in aluminum foil with the top of the water bowl also covered in foil for easy cleanup of the drippings.

Also you forgot to fill in the part about where you are located 🤨

Welcome !

I always use water , unless I’m hanging with my coals in my Hunsaker vortex basket.

Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...
