Noticed on my performer the other day, the porcelain is damaged right around where the washer sits on the lid bale. Like its down to metal and rust is showing.
Anyone else see this with their lid bale equipped kettle? Is this normal\expected? Is it caused by higher heat than expected? I assume this probably happens in other areas where there is metal contact next to the porcelain.
Not a huge deal, just curious.
