Was looking into and wanted to know any thoughts or opinions on the Santa Maria attachment for a 22 inch kettle. Yay or nay??

If you have a beater, why not. Otherwise a camp fire will simply destroy the bowl.

I’ve seen people mimic this style using the WSM.  Check it out.

@Speedster , GET IT before he raises the price again.  I love mine, and you don't have to go crazy with a live fire... i've done just coals and some oak pieces for flavor.
CGA,GGA, jumbo joe, 3-18" kettles,22" blue,green,yellow and 2 reds, 1-22" lid mod for pizza, a genesis silver,2 Red SS Performers,2 26ers,1 red, 1 chief and a Ranch Kettle.

That is a cool looking accessory.  I always thought something like this Caliente rig might provide similar results.

Don't have the Santa Maria but the caliente should work just as well.  Caliente should be much more heat efficient as the wall of the stacker will direct most of the heat toward the meat. I had 2 caliente but i converted both into a smoker /rotisserie stacker.

I'll be right down Darin   [emoji6]

This is my setup. Notice the coals on some old cooking grates...
