...I actually spent 5 minutes this morning seriously contemplating running a hot water line to an outside spigot.  Because it would be so handy for cleaning up greasy CL kettles.

Anyone else have any crazy thoughts they'd like to confess?  C'mon, we won't tell anyone...

I've checked out industrial ice makers....ice to keep water cold ( I always have freezing cold water going, to keep hydrated & cooled off, me, not the kettles ) & always have ice ready to transport BBQ stuff to the "away" cooks.......REAL expensive, even at the restaurant 2nd hand places.......
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

The outside utility sink with hotwater isn't crazy. Did this at my last place and plumbed it to the septic tank, also. I'm considering a inline water heater for my new spot. Makes cleaning the water pan so easy. I also had a 60 x 18" HDPE cutting board counter top for prepping briskets. I'm considering a 4' square industrial HDPE mop sink for the new spot, but still in the planning phase now.

A few days ago my friend asked me what Weber Charcoal models I haven't owned in the lineup. I could only respond with- SJG, Platinum, 18"OT Gold and Silver, Q, and JJ...... and that was it. I have owned everything else if you don't count model updates and colors. My 'itis isn't as bad when people start collecting all models and colors.
"Have you hugged your Weber today?"

I'm wanting to build a privacy fence around my patio........just so the kettles (and I) can perve and cook in private w/o staring neighbors..  ::)

Today I realized that I store parts for grills inside of grills. Yup, that's probably another symptom
