Here's the thread where I had the same issue as many of us. I picked up mine also in Germany. After a little quarrel with Weber CS in the Netherlands they sent me new bowl and legs. Now, after buying an extra lid and grates, I have stuff for a mini ranch[emoji3]

They are about to send me a new bowl next week.
I just opened a ticket, with some pics and told them I am a fan and collector.
No discussions.

That's why Weber is Weber !!

I totally agree!! From the little things to bowl replacement!! Weber has out standing customer service!!

Register the grill and be honest. That is all they expect!

WEBER Parcel arrived !

At this time I mounted the OneTouch system on the left side (as described in the manual)
It makes more sense. Now you can slide the lid easily into the holder without a disturbing lid vent.
I guess that's the reason. Du to the construction you can't rotate the vent 360 degrees.

The bowl is nearly (<2%) balanced now. It stands much more secure. I am really happy now.
