I think i'm going to be sick! Just when I thought the red was the ultimate, now you show us a blue one! If I ever get to Oz I am going to bring a gasser back, preferable blue.

I think things have reached the tipping point now where there needs to be a name change. I think it should be called Gollys Gassy Gadial Ganing

If that was mine I would put a thermometer on it. I always thought the gas kettles should have had them.

with the handle so high whats the chance of a M/T  setup being retro fitted?

or a WSM thermometer fitted over a large chip?

Is it a looker or cooker?
If its a looker I'd be leaving it original
Instead of turning it into a Frankenweber
Lid thermometers are overrated IMO

looking for replacement control knobs for the gas kettles

these looks like a similar one

Hey Golly, let us know if you do find knobs. I've been looking for one to replace the Direct/Indirect knob. My D/I shaft sheared off at the burner and I had to re-tap it. I haven't tried to remove the shaft from the knob too hard for fear of destroying it.
