I am just glad he didnt tear up the redhead.

Although, this is the last year Weber will be making blue grills,so maybe it's not so funny.

Hey, Alton is a Weber fan, that much is pretty clear. So he made a chair out of a kettle... Its his kettle to do with as he pleases. I think its amusing and wouldn't mind having one myself... Maybe not a bad outcome for a basket case. Better than the dump, anyway.

I wonder if the wheels are on it. I find myself really wanting him to go ass over teakettle on that thing.

Id like to see the camera guy stick a match through the One Touch vents and light a fart from Alton Brown's ass.

There is more pics of the chair somewhere. The wheels are laying flat, the chair doesn't roll.
It sure don't look comfortable. Its more of a novelty if you ask me. I do think a barstiil can be made iwth an 18 or a 14 and put it on a post of some kind.

What interests me more is that two tome red head that has a newer ash can.
Who built that for Alton? How do I get the job of Chief Weber Customizer or consultant?
I bet he aint got a yeller?  8)

I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

Do we know this is a One Touch?

Is it the right color to be only a One Touch?

We ARE the ones who would know the answer .......

Rather the kettle in the ass than the ass in the kettle.

I don't know...........the wife has threatened the 1st part, specifically, if I bring home more kettles ( 5 kettles ago )

Has everybody gone "deadheaded" around here & forgotten "GGG"?

Golly made a great barstool with a redhead & we're not gonna be bashin'  him.....he's a GRILLFELLA !!!!!

I kind of like it. :)

Is he putting that bowl over the chimney to make the coals get ready faster?

I'm kind of embarrassed that I know all of this, but he's making a porterhouse steak.  He loaded the chimney maybe halfway with lump, and when it was full-on hot he shook off the ash and put it *over* the steak (he claims they always just fit).  Seared it on two sides for a total of about 90 seconds, then moved the grate and steak to the top of the chimney for  a few more minutes.  The bowl is there to capture some of the heat from the dying coals.

I'm sure you can find the whole episode on YouTube if you're interested.  He also details dry-aging beef in your refrigerator in that episode.

And I am personally a fan of that kettle chair, though I'd feel better if it were black.

Am I mis-remembering that somebody here had a connection to the filming of this episode and can shed some more light on it?  Was it Ed?

EDIT: Obviously it was not Ed.

Seems like the guy standing by the red kettle has an embarrassed  "oh dear god" look about him.  ;D  I don't know, I guess Id be ok with that if it were a black kettle, but oh well. Buckie, I forgot that Golly did do a red seat for Gadial Ganing.
