Do bolt on handles need to be re-tightened?

I have one on my 26 lid but have only had it less than year.  Do they come loose or does all the cooking grease glue that guy in place?

Anyone have any experiences with this?

In my experience, I have to periodically tighten my taco bolts. However, there is a guy on these forums that produced a list of hardware that prevents the nuts from working loose.
I've been called the Robin Hood of Weber Kettles.

I replaced the "nuts" on mine when I first put it together.  Haven't had a problem.

If there is space left on the bolt then you can double nut it... adding another nut on top of the original nut keeps it nice and tight.
