Looks great, but IMO you should have flipped the table 90 degrees. I think that that darker band of wood would have looked better going the length of the table rather than the width.
That looks better than the Weber plastic. They should get with it and have wood tables on the performer and wood handles on all kettles. That is what customers want.
That does look great. Is it marine grade plywood? Marine grade is not treated and does need a protective finish but has moisture proof glue. Only reason I say that is my brothers made my dad a corn hole game and they painted it with 3 coats of exterior paint and the first time it got just a little wet, the top ply started to wrinkle. It's done it a couple times now and when it dries it flattens back out. It's the weirdest thing and we didn't expect it.
