I've asked a similar question before, but it was more about gas vs. charcoal and whether the motors and spits were interchangeable. I want a charcoal roti, so I have been on the lookout for a nice kettle to have full time rotisserie duty. That's a thing for me. I have a pizza kettle grill which is a one-trick pony. I'd do a rotisserie the same way, so I'd want a dedicated grill.
Anyway, I got to thinking this morning that I have a 26" that I only use rarely for big cooks, or if I want to be able to smoke something and still cook on the performer.
So, from all that rambling, I'm asking for input from the community about whether I should get a roti for my 26" and use it primarily as a team or get a dedicated 22" and roti for that. Realistically I don't plan to roti anything huge, so real estate wouldn't be my primary justification for going with the 26", but I also suppose it couldn't hurt.
Thanks to anyone who can decipher my garbled thoughts...
