picked this up today.
I think she's a 78 😊

Thanks Travis. 😂 Too much time unsupervised. My wife went on a camping trip with my oldest last weekend. Not once but twice. Once with the 5th graders and once with the Girl Scouts. This weekend my wife and her sisters along with all the kids went to the mother in laws camper in Door County for the weekend. So once again I am unsupervised. Picked up a Wood Dale yesterday and a MBH brownie today and made a trip to the butcher shop. I'm going to be in trouble tomorrow. Good thing I picked up her favorite thing from there for mothers day dinner on the new brownie.

Another great find. Congrats!

Now get some spar varnish on that handle. What's taking you so long!

Sorry this is taking so long. I had to sand it then throw some Minwax golden oak stain on it first. Start the Spar varnish
next weekend after its good and dry. It looked a little bleached out 😊

Excellent looking kettle!!!

The older one was was a catch also......but....all this talk of "unsupervised" time made me think of something....I'll post it in "off topic"..... 8)
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"

Thanks everyone. It wasn't terribly dirty. Inside or out. Had a couple of broken leg socket welds that I drilled, tapped and put a SS fender washer inside the bowl. She's ready to cook tomorrow's dinner.
