Will an older 18 ash Catcher assembly fit on a new style 18 OTS?

It seems like it doesn't want to fit
But I could be that dumb and mechanically challenged to be too stupid to figure it out

You have to pull out the 3 legs a little bit to do some space for the  clips of the rim!
Hope that works @captjoe06

^^Thanks @JEBIV.  I had just taken a sip of coffee before reading your comment. It didn't end well for my PC monitor.

Sometimes the old rings get bent just slightly from taking them on and off and they don't want to go on a new grill.  You have to reshape it a bit.  I have stood over them in my living room scratching my head and staring at it thinking what is going on here!

I got that fucker on. Much easier after I flipped it upside down on the grass.

Just got to clean up the ash catcher pot.

Added a wood handle too.

She's getting a good douching tomorrow, legs fix and the wood handles. Going to store the Laser cut grate and cook on this bad boy.
