First rescue of the season
« on: April 10, 2017, 08:18:00 AM »
This morning I took garbage up to the dumpsters and found this hiding in there.  I am guessing 10-15 years old basic one touch silver.  Ash sweeps totally rusted away.  Both grates in pretty sad shape and no lid.  Bowl is solid with no rust that I can see.  I will be cleaning it up next weekend.  I will also have to take a stroll through the camp ground and see who has a new grill.  Maybe I can talk them out of the lid.  (I am guessing they kept it to use for their camp fires.)

Nice going! Looks to be in a great condition. Rescuing a kettle in any condition is a good thing. You will find a way to use it.

I already have one of those.  This is in too nice of shape to do that.
