question on costco kcomp sale

costco members, pls help here.

the costco coupon sale on kcomp.. costco usually runs this sale at least 2x during the season correct?

first at the beginning .. like now..

then later in the summer?

am i mistaken.. ?

im wondering how many runs i should make before this sale ends.. which would be less if there is a 2nd sale yet to run in the summer..

I can not remember the sales schedule for the season but I think the current sale ends 04-17-17 (just over a week from now). I picked up my first two bags tonight and will give them a test spin this weekend. I have never tried the kcomp before, if I like it I'll pick up some more next week.

there are posting about kcomp vs kblue on virtual wsm website..some of their members are also big fans of kcomp...no toxic smell or taste and more even burn temp and less ash

The kcomp allowed me to only have to rotate 3 racks overfilled with jerky 1x during the cook.

Completely even browning and drying on all 3 racks.

With kblue i usually have to rotate jerky every 1/2 hr after the first 1.5 hrs which results in a very exhausting day.

Kblue also never gave me the browning that kcomp did.

I discovered this by accident as last weeks smoke session...after my first rotation ...i kinda firgit to check on wsm due to other diy stuff i was working on...went back ti the wsn 2 hours later....figuring i burned the whole batch jerky..and almost fellover when i saw jerky perfection....

Yes it's good stuff. I picked up 5 twin packs last October on clearance. They were $5 a twin pack. Wish they had more.

Yes. Every year they go on clearance, never that low though. I just got lucky. Usually pick them up at $10 in September.
