Hey guys,

Check out this small (14") carbon steel wok made by GrillPro. It fits really well on an SJ and is priced reasonably at $34.99 for both the wok and ring.

Part number is 98020 for those who are interested, and if you buy through the link below it supports the WKC

I wonder if any home depots or lowe's have them in stock.

Can't go wrong with a carbon steel wok. I bought an 18 incher for use on my 22.5" Weber Gourmet grill, using the Vortex. It sets nicely in the hole of the grill. The wok needs to get screaming hot, and over the Vortex with RO lump, that's no problem.

Looks nice, but I wonder how that wok will slide around on the grate when you're mixing the contents?

I might get one to try it on my 22" GBS.  Thanks for posting this.

I have 2 carbon steel woks already and a ring.  It's amazing the crap you find hidden in the cupboard!

You need a mini gourmet grate to drop the wok down in and cradle it.

I don't understand the term carbon steel. What steel doesn't contain carbon?

There's just different properties of the steel, Carbon steel, alloys, stainless and tool steel. and a carbon steel wok sounds cooler than " i have an alloy steel wok"..LOL

GrillPro is sold all over the place so check around...

And yes it also fits the GBS grate quite nicely!

Thanks! I just got one along with BrushTech Bristle Free Brush made in USA. The wok has some kind of thick clear lacquer coating on it. No instruction or nothing in the box. How do you get that off?  I may use steel wool to take it off.
