Cado bowl rescue
« on: April 02, 2017, 04:35:21 PM »
Found this on the side of the road today, no legs, lid, just the bowl. It is rough. Thinking of making it a permanent Roti bowl. I got a vintage roti (non weber) a while back and would need to modify a bowl. This may be just the one. I've wanted an avacado for awhile didn't think I'd find half of one on the side of the road..[emoji23]

Half a Cado is better than no Cado at all.

Cool find. It would make a good pizza rig, roti bowl, or fit pit.

I suppose that's true… My wife thinks I'm ridiculous but then again she has thought that for quite some time

Man I live in the wrong part of the country... they just toss Cado's to the side of the road by you?!

Nice find!!! I'm sure you'll come up with something cool. I would be half tempted to drive back and look around for the lid.

Someday I hope to find a cado or lime..

Still can't believe you found that on the side of the road. I still say planter, but I do like the roti idea. [emoji106]

A planter would be cool as well. I've got plans for a barbecue area and this would be cool right outside it

I did drive around looking for the lid. Knocked on the door and no one answered. Drove around for a bit could not find it

I like how you're in your WKC hoodie too!
I'd go with a planter, given the no lid situation

I do have a lid just hanging around. But a cado planter would be awesome

Well, I think it at least needs a couple of cooks on it before you turn it into a planter if you are going that route.

The fire pit isn't a bad idea either..

I think it's a nice cado half full. Not half empty. Can't see it as a planter just yet.
