Mine is on order from a local alliance dealer.  It looks good to see an actual photo of it.  I just bought a used 22 WSM and found an 18" from someone giving it away for free.  I'll have to sneak it into the house somehow as the wife is not pleased.

FYI, Topper WILL NOT be on the grill, bezel, etc.  Topper will appear on the box.

Just not sure I'll do it now. I hate the taco, and already have a red. Sounds like there are going to be thousands of these made, so going to be a long time before these are going to be a collectors item. Even NIB. I'm also a cooker, not a collector. On the other hand, none of my cookers have come out of a box. If Topper was going to be on the grill... I'd be 100% in. Just not sure the box is worth it.

The irony is that at first a lot of people were skeptical about a logo being on the grill and said they'd prefer it plain. Now we hear it's plain and people want Topper.

Weber can't win, and that's sad for all of us.

I liked the idea of it on the handle or bezel, just not on the actual grill.  But I'm not into logo grills.

It will probably sell well. I doubt the general public cares about topper being on it. That's probably why it was left off.

No need for me to get the new one, either. I've got an older red MT. I have the newer MT triangle, and just placed an order (thru Weber) for the newer MT leg set.  Might see if @zavod44 will be whipping up some Topper handles.........
